Placing an Order Online

When you order items from this site, we treat this as an offer from you to purchase products and/ or services.  We may refuse to accept orders for reasons such as failure to make sufficient payment, unavailability of products and/ or services, or product or pricing errors.

On receipt of your order you will receive from Heidi's an email describing the products and/ or services that you have ordered.  These communications confirm that we have received your order, but do not represent acceptance of your offer to purchase products and/ or services from Heidi's.  We are not legally obliged to provide the products and/ or services to you during the offer process.  Our acceptance of your order will take place when your order has been despatched or upon commencement of the service that you have ordered from Heidi's.  Any products or services on the same order which haven't been dispatched to you are not part of the contract.

For products that are purchased online which are to be collected from store, acceptance of the order will be at the point of dispatch which will be when the customer collects the order from the store.


Price and Payment

The content of our website is checked regularly, however despite our efforts sometimes information, discounts and promotions or pricing may be incorrect.  We do check all order information as part of our order processing and if there is an error then a Heidi's Team Member will contact you.  

Prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. 

 If we are unable to supply the products and / or service to you we will notify you and arrange for an immediate refund to your payment card. 

Discounts and e-vouchers may be subject to additional conditions, they are not transferable and are only valid for the products and services to which they relate.


Availability

We try to provide regularly updated information for our products and/ or services on this site.  Delivery dates are estimates only, however we endeavour to get your delivery to you within the specified time scales, but on occasions and despite our efforts their may sometimes be a delay due to circumstances beyond our control.  As we process your order we'll inform you if  any products and/ or services become unavailable, out of stock or delayed.


Delivery Information

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery will usually be with Royal Mail Registered post.  On occasions a courier may be used in postcode areas NG1, NG2, NG3, NG4 and NG5.  If this service is used then the buyer will be contacted to arrange a convenient delivery time.  Both options will require a signature on delivery as proof of receipt.

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of goods.

Where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available.  It is at the discretion of Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd as to whether goods are delivered in stages if goods are waiting to come into stock.

Delivery is currently only available to an address within the mainland UK.  However, if you do wish to discuss placing an order for delivery to another country destination, then please contact us direct to discuss.

Goods will only be delivered to the address specified on the order.  Once they are deemed to have been delivered to the specified address then Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd will not be deemed liable for non-delivery of the goods.  We do not need to satisfy ourselves that the person accepting the delivery at the specified address is the buyer (or authorised by the buyer to accept delivery of the goods).

When the buyer orders goods that are not available or discontinued and cannot be delivered to the buyer within 28 days from the date of payment then the buyer has the right to cancel the contract and monies paid by the buyer will be reimbursed.

Any liability to you for the non-delivery of goods shall be limited to replacing the goods within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note or refund.

The quantity and content of any delivery is recorded by us and shall be conclusive evidence of what you receive on delivery unless you can provide conclusive evidence which proves otherwise.

All goods must be signed for and Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd accepts no responsibility once goods have been signed for at the address specified on the order.

Delivery is normally 3 - 5 working days but should any out of stock items take longer the buyer will be notified.

Delivery of large items

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of goods.  The delivery is to the front door and the buyer should note that should they allow the delivery person(s) into their property they do so entirely at their own risk.  Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd will not be liable for any breakages or damage.

For large items we have our own delivery vehicle but on some occasions we may use a specialist courier service. The delivery service is available Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am to 6.00pm; however deliveries can be made out of these hours for a small charge.  A mutual delivery time will be arranged between the buyer and Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd.

If when an arranged delivery has been made and the buyer or authorised person is not present to receive the goods then the goods will be returned back to the store.  Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd reserves the right to charge the buyer an additional fee for re-delivery.  This amount charged will be at the discretion of Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd to ensure that additional costs are covered.

Cancellations and Returns

As a customer of Heidi’s Home Furnishings Limited, you have the right to cancel your online order no later than 14 calendar days after the day you receive your products and/ or services.  This applies to all products with the exception of the 'Workshops' where cancellation with a full refund is only allowed up to and no later than 7 calendar days before the date that the workshop is due to take place.  If you should choose to cancel a purchased workshop within the 7 calendar day period before the date the event is due to take place then only 50% of the workshop place cost will be refunded.  You are able to rearrange the date of your paid workshop place up to 7 days before the event is due to take place, however should you wish to rearrange your workshop place to another date within the 7 calendar period before the event is due to take place then an additional fee of 50% of the workshop place cost will be charged to you the customer. 

To cancel your order within the specified time period and to arrnage the return of the unwanted products then you should contact us.

If you decide to cancel you order then you should note the following:

  • You, the customer, will be responsible for the postage cost incurred for returning the product(s), unless the product(s) has been sent to you in error, or the products(s) were damaged or defective at the date of delivery to you. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide proof that a product(s) was damaged or defective at the date of delivery, however this does not affect your statutory rights.
  • You must have taken reasonable care of the product(s) until they have been returned to Heidi's Home Furnishings Limited.
  • We will refund you the original selling price (less any discounts applied at the time of purchase) of the product that you are cancelling together with the delivery charge that was paid.  We endeavor to do this within 30 days of receipt of the returned product(s).

These terms and conditions do not affect any legal rights of you have as a consumer under any law, and which we the retailer are not able to exclude.  Please ensure your account details are correct so that we are able to contact you in relationy to your order.  Our terms and conditions may change from time to time, so please check them when you place your order.  

Heidi’s Home Furnishings Ltd. fully acknowledge your Consumer Protection rights under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 (DSRs). These include:
  • Your right to know who you are dealing with.
  • Key information about what you are buying.
  • Your unconditional right to cancel within seven working days.
  • Your right to receive a full refund.
  • Protection against online payment card fraud.
